Industry News > Tuition Access Bursary (TAB) - New Brunswick
To increase affordability and access for New Brunswick students to attend public post-secondary institutions in New Brunswick, the Government of New Brunswick has established a new Tuition Access Bursary (TAB) through the Education and New Economy Fund.
The Tuition Access Bursary will increase access to post-secondary education and provide an incentive for New Brunswick youth to stay and study in New Brunswick.
The bursary will provide upfront, non-repayable assistance for students with gross household incomes of $60,000 or less attending publicly funded college programs or undergraduate university programs in New Brunswick.
Applications will be available in early June through Student Financial Services at the Department of Post-Secondary Education, Training and Labour or studentaid.gnb.ca.
More information on the bursary will be made available on the Student Financial Services Web site in the coming days.
Student Financial Services can be reached by calling 506-453-2577 in the Fredericton area or outside the toll-free zone. The rest of New Brunswick, the Atlantic Provinces, and west to mid-Ontario can call 1-800-667-5626.
