CASFAA 2023 Conference

The 2023 Conference Committee looks forward to welcoming all CASFAA members to the campus of Yukon University in beautiful Whitehorse, YK from May 29 – 31, 2023.

The theme of the conference is Golden Opportunities Under the Midnight Sun and promises to provide something for everyone! We are excited to be hosting the first in person conference in three years, providing participants with the opportunity to attend dynamic sessions, hear keynote speakers, network with colleagues from across the country, explore local attractions through planned excursions and more. We recognize the past few years have brought many challenges and changes to the work financial administrators do, this conference will focus on finding the opportunities and new paths forward that have also been created within our field.

Registration for the conference is closed now, with a member registration fee of $375 + tax (non-member registration fee is $550 + tax). Among the new challenges many of us face in our offices are reduced travel and professional development budgets. The conference committee and CASFAA Board are aware of this and are working hard to bring you an experience that will be both affordable and valuable to you. We encourage you to get excited and start planning now. Please explore the Golden Opportunities Brochure we have partnered with the Yukon Convention Bureau to create. Of special note is the accommodation information highlighted on pages 11-14, blocks of rooms have been reserved at four local hotels with special conference pricing (closing dates apply)

There are also opportunities to get involved. Members may still join the conference planning committee, to express your interest please contact Bunne Palamar directly at bpalamar@yukonu.ca. Watch for a call for proposals for presentation sessions in the coming week, we look forward to your ideas and feedback.

Get excited, golden opportunities await!
