2021 Coffee Hour: Awards Management and Vendor Solutions

Is your school considering a vendor solution for awards administration or is your school currently working with a vendor to help you with administering awards? 

Over the past few years, many universities and colleges across Canada have or are in the process of considering awards management solutions for their need and merit- based awards. Regardless of where your school may be in this process, even if you're just thinking about it, the vendor experience can be daunting and challenging, and provide you with an experience that isn't exactly what you expected.

Please join Donna Wall (University of Toronto) and Cara Piperni (McGill University) for a discussion about making the case for a vendor solution with senior leadership, the RFP process, working with a Project Manager or not, managing colleagues during the process, integrating with existing systems (payments, communications, existing applications), the dream vs reality of award functionality, and what you would do differently if you had to start over.
