Job Description / Duties
Manages the University’s bursary and student loan programs.
Delivers excellence in customer service to students and families.
Works collaboratively with internal and external funding agencies.
Operates in partnership with Recruitment, Admissions, Registrar,
Advancement and Student Accounts.
Adheres to ethical and confidentiality guidelines of the University.
Delivers comprehensive reporting on program status and impact.
Maintains appropriate documentation for annual audit of US Loan program.
Consistently seeks opportunities for improvement of Financial Aid processes.
Maintains awareness of current provincial and federal regulations.
Maintains Financial Aid website ensuring accuracy and relevancy for students.
Qualifications / Required Skills
Undergraduate degree and three years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Excellent organizational, communication (oral and written), presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent team work and leadership skills.
Excellent financial management skills.
Possesses superior judgment and decision-making skills
Experienced user of standard MS Office applications and enterprise level information systems (e.g., PeopleSoft, Banner) at an intermediate level.
Ability to engineer and manage policies.

Salary: Salary Band C, salary range $41,398 to $50,583.
